ABOUT ROCK MACHINE

 

Founded in 1991, Rock Machine was only a small LP shop at the third floor of the Galeria do Rock in Sao Paulo at that time and two years later, in 1993, it was released an album together with a label called Dynamo. The album was Unmerciful Order from Krisiun (Brazil), the first one from Rock Machine Records/Label and after this one, more releases from brazilian bands came along. It was only in 2005 that Rock Machine begin to strongly invest in releasing international bands. The first three albums were: 60 Second Wipe Out and Burn Berlin, Burn from Atari Teenage Riot (Germany) and Possessed by Fire together with Rising from the Sea (first released in 1998), a split from Exumer (Germany). Today Rock Machine owns two big CD shops at the first floor of Galeria do Rock as well as a Virtual Shop. Besides being a Record Label and a CD Store, Rock Machine is also a Show Producer and already booked Misfits, Sodom, Exodus, Mercyful Fate, King Diamond and Hammerfall to gigs in Sao Paulo/Brazil. Nowadays we have several bands released by our label in Brazil and we are seriously working in partnerships with european and north american record labels to increase our cast with internationaly renowned bands.
