The band was formed in the year 1995 (13-01-95) and has suffered several line-up changes since then. The current line-up dates back to September, 2002, with which the band recorded the second album and the third one. Said third record is entitled “CARNIVORA”. It contain 13 tracks and the Spanish version was released in Argentina in September, 2005. The English version will be released soon. Just like with “Desde las Tinieblas” (From the Darkness), “Carnivora” was recorded both in Spanish and in English. The artistic production was in charge of Miguel Roldán (V8 – Logos – Cruel Adicción) and the recording session was at La Nave de Oseberg. The English version of the lyrics (translation and adaptation) will be in charge of Sergio Fernández Ribnikov. After the line-up had been consolidated, the band recorded “Desde las Tinieblas” (From the Darkness). Said work was recorded between January and June, 2003, at La Nave de Oseberg. The recording and mixing of the record was in charge of Martín Toledo, whereas the mastering was in charge of Diego Martínez. This work was completely recorded in two versions, English and Spanish, with an interactive track containing the video-clip of the track “In the Entrails of the Apocalypse” (English version of “En las Entrañas del Apocalipsis”). The Spanish version of said work was released in November, 2003, and it is available through the band’s official website. The English version of the record was released in Brazil through Rock Machine Records. Mastifal’s first work was recorded on March, 28th, 1998, in only four channels and without any musical arrangements or effects in a studio in Moreno, Buenos Aires. It is entitled "EBOLA" and its lyrics deal with social subjects and the responsibility man should assume towards the environment. This album was very well received by the media and the national underground scene. It paved the way for the recording of their first independent CD, which contained 11 tracks and an interactive track with videos, photos, lyrics, info, etc. The next work of the band, "HOLOCAUSTO MENTAL" was recorded during August of 1999 and May of 2000.
